In 2006, the Auburn Tigers won their fourth straight NCAA Division I Men's Swimming & Diving National Championship. Auburn accumulated 480.5 points at the event, with Arizona in second place with 440.5 points. Auburn secured the victory in the next-to-last event, when Steve Segerlin won his first NCAA title on the 10 meter platform.
